Waterproof Sherpa Blanket

Great blanket for inclement weather football games.

I purchased this blanket for a fishing tournament and I was not disappointed! It was 40 degrees running out that morning running 40mph on the boat and I was bundled up in my bean bag and it kept the wind out and the warmth in!!! 10/10 I will recommend to anyone I know in need of an outdoor blanket!

Received this blanket last week, I purchased it because i love the original, The blanket is super soft and it keeps you warm. It doesnt looks to be resistant to dog hairs so i wont have this out too much. Would love to see bigger sizes.

Overall I'm happy with the product, it definitely needs to be washed before use, the soft plush side was shedding as I was removing it from the bag. However, after that, it seems to be fine, a little stiff because of the backing, which is in fact weatherproof, used this a couple of weeks ago up on the mountain when we went asking, and was a hit, kept having everyone trying to steal it from me, so highly recommended if this is something you're in the market for.

This is a very nice outdoor blanket. The outer layer is very waterproof and the fleece layer is super soft. It rolls up easily into the carrying bag. The only reason for 4 stars is because the outer layer is a little crinkly and not quite as soft as I would have liked, but overall a great blanket. Also, I had some questions and their customer service is great.

I can't write a detailed review -- I bought 2 as Christmas gifts. I did see my daughter's blanket as she unwrapped it while visiting and can say it is a well made, quality blanket and is light weight.

I gave 2 of these to my son and daughter in law. Even though they haven’t been back in CA to be stargazing on the deck, they used the blankets here in WA at my house while they visited! They raved about how warm they are and plan on using them a lot back home on the beach and at their home.

This was an early Christmas gift, to my daughter, as she used it at a horse show, when weather turned really cold and loves it. It's very warm, and gives plenty of coverage. She wishes, she had it earlier, for other outdoor sports activities when weather changes. She keeps in car, to make sure she'll have it, for any occasion. Shw would recommend having one.

The blanket is super comfy on the sherpa side, great quality. It's perfect for a picnic or camping, because the backside is durable and waterproof. Definitely worth the cost for the value. 5 stars!

I never thought I would find a lightweight blanket that would keep me warm. I was wrong!! I absolutely love this blanket!!

My son and grandson used theirs while camping with the Boy Scouts this weekend. My son said it was the best gift ever as it kept them warm in their sleeping bags. The temperatures were in the 40's.

I have another blanket by Oceas that I’ve had for two years and LOVE, so was excited to try a new one. The Sherpa is sooooo soft and the blanket is very cozy. This blanket definitely meets or exceeds all my expectations.

What we love: waterproof, weather resistant, durable, rolls up into drawstring & cordlocked bag it comes with,What could be better: thicker sherpa fleece (though we realize this would result in it not rolling up as small and being heavier--in our minds worthy trades)

Super warm, super durable, perfect for our new camper van to travel the country. The Sherpa side is super warm and cuddly, the waterproof side is great to place face down on the ground without worrying about getting dirty or wet. Oceas never disappoints!

The blanket arrived quickly and was well-packaged. No rips, tears, or punctures on the box so I was confident the blanket would be intact. I ordered the black color with the white sherpa-fleece lining. The fleece is soft and just thick enough to not feel the waterproof layer on the outside. Basically, you don't feel like you're wearing a tarp with fleece, you feel like you are snuggled in a warm fleece blanket. This would be a great top- or bottom-layer blanket at the beach or the mountains or in your tent to keep the condensation/dew from making you cold and wet. Upon closer inspection each tuft of fleece appears to be individually sewn into the blanket so you wouldn't worry about a single thread coming undone and taking out a row of fleece. On the other hand I do worry about the durability of the fleece over time. You probably shouldn't let your dog sleep on this one. That being said, it kept me warm and dry and cozy and happy. I hope it will for you, too.

Now that the weather is getting colder, we wanted a second, warmer, dog hair resistant blanket for the couch and camping. Bought this one because we love our other Oceas lightweight blanket and their customer service is A+. So far really happy with the feel of the sherpa and the quilted style of the blanket. Can't wait to try it out this winter!

It collects debris but it's just the nature of the fabric I suppose. I can't really complain about that. The polyester/waterproof side of it doesn't, and is amazing! It is windproof and works wonders if you want to lie out without being effected by the morning dew or humidity. I recommend getting this to put over your other blankets if not using this by itself. This is rather warm alone. I wish it was available in a larger size, but besides that I have no complaints. For the price you won't regret buying this blanket.

Long time owner of the Oceas original fleece blanket and love that blanket: often use while camping, at my sons football games, by the fireplace, or throw it down on any surface to give us a comfy space to sit. Recently bought the Sherpa so that my partner and I could have a separate blankets to keep us warm at the games and the sherpa is noticeably much more comfy than the Oceas fleece b/c of the plush side. Very similar great design as the original fleece and folds easily into it's pouch. I also like the quilted design on the outside of the blanket. May have to order a second one because now we're arguing who gets the Sherpa for the day :)

We purchased this blanket because we have had a great experience with other Oceas products and customer service in the past. And with cooler temps and outdoor events this seemed like something we had to have. The Sherpa material is soft and the waterproof material seems thick and durable. As soon as we opened it my kids (who love snuggly blankets) fell in love. Last weekend we took the blanket to an outdoor, drive in concert in Ohio. The second night it was in the 40s and I was so thankful this was in my car. We could both wrap up in it and it was super warm. This was a great add to our lives.

This blanket was larger than I expected. You could easily drape it over an outdoor loveseat or chair and have extra to wrap around yourself. My family of 3 could also all fit on it for a picnic. It came in a nice duffel that might come in handy if you plan on keeping this in your trunk or using it for camping.I can't speak to it's warmth because it's not been cold outside yet, but it is soft - though not as plush as it may seem in the photos. It shed a bit when first opened as well. I can't envision using this indoors but it's likely going to be very useful in the upcoming months.

I purchased this blanket with my children's soccer games in mind as it can get so cold sitting on the sidelines. This blanket is warm and since it is waterproof is a great wind blocker. I also plan to use it for a picnic blanket since one side is waterproof. This is very needed where I live since we get alot of rain in the northwest and even after having no rain for a day or two the ground can still be wet. Great find!!!

I'm a fan of their waterproof fleece blanket so I got this sherpa version to try it out. I love that the sherpa lining is nice and soft, although I agree with another reviewer that I wish it was tad thicker as I can see the base fabric a bit. I've used it indoors so far and it provides warmth and coziness as advertised. I think this blanket will be great for picnics since it keeps the moisture out and provide extra warmth, as I've experienced with their fleece blanket version. I'm also planning to try it out as a base liner for our tent when we go car camping, or as a liner for the air mattress in our car to add warmth below us. Love that it's compact, light, and easy to toss in the car.

This is my third Oceas blanket: I have the pocket tarp for whenever I need a clean place to sit, the fleece blanket for park visits, and now this warmer Sherpa blanket for colder weather. I love that all of them keep moisture from the ground out. The extra fluff on this particular blanket makes a difference when spending more time outdoors with kids these days thanks to Covid. It’s a similar size to the fleece blanket and is nonetheless a nice addition to the collection as I can even use at home on the couch.

I’m so happy with this blanket! My son’s soccer season has been moved to February. We already own an Oceas Waterproof blanket, which is perfect for fall days. I thought we would need something a little warmer for February, and this is perfect! Soft, warm fleece and waterproof. It’s also big. I think we’ll be using it in the house, too!

We own 4 of the waterproof blankets already for kids sports, camping and other events. These blankets are great. Lightweight, easy to pack and great at blocking wind. We just added the Sherpa blanket and it’s amazing. Kept us warm and dry during a cold and rainy soccer game.

To be honest I was surprised on how large the blanket was. I have used their pocket blanket for quite some time and I was excited to try out their new blanket. It was definitely useful as we used it for camping underneath our sleeping bags. Kept us warm throughout the night and kept us dry from the morning dew. I would definitely buy this again!

OMG! I love my new sherpa blanket! This is now the best blanket I own!! It's so comfy and warm. It comes in a perfectly sized bag that will go right in my car for chilly nights on the lawn with friends!!I just wish it were a little thicker but overall I'm super happy with it. I ordered this blanket in blue as a gift I am going to customize with my Cricut for family who like to tailgate. It arrived nicely packaged in a box that can be wrapped easily. The blanket also came inside a carrying bag with a strap. It's a beautiful blue accurate to th pictures. The outer material is similar to snow pants so I assume it will hold up well in cold, wet weather. It's not terrible thick but either our snow pants so I'm not concerned about that. If anything it makes it light and compact to carry.

I absolutely love how soft and warm and comforting this sherpa blanket is. It is like being wrapped in a warm cloud. It is so lightweight and breathable considering how incredibly warm it is. It is also weatherproof and durable. Stains are easy to get out and it washes well (in the gentle cycle on cold water then line dry or air dry). This blanket is so large that it can fit more than one person or it can also be perfect for just a pet because mine love this blanket just as much as all my other family members. It comes in the perfect size travel bag with a handle. This blanket makes a great gift for the upcoming holidays.

This is the fourth Oceas blanket I’ve purchased and by far the warmest and thickest. It looks like it will hold up as good as my other blankets from Oceas and I can’t wait to get into some chilly weather to try it out.
