I am trying to return these bc they just look like a plastic sheet.

Perfect for what I need.

WELL, I WRAPPED ONE AROUND ME AND STEPPED OUT FRONT FOR A FEW MOMENTS ON A VERY COOL NIGHT LAST WEEK; I FELT MYSELF WARMING UP AS I STOOD THERE FOR A WHILE...SINCERELY, LARRY C. FISHER

I've been buying emergency blankets for years, and forcing them on friends and family for their cars and day packs...one never knows when they might be useful, merely handy, or even save a life. BUT, often, they come in packaging that begs to be lost, and are either awkward sizes, or poor quality. These come in a pack that won't leave anyone in a travel party in need, AND the pack is so nice? I'd never forget it, and might pay the price JUST for the packaging! These are high quality and clearly come from product designers who actually understand how the product will be used, rather than just how to move cheap stuff out the door as fast as possible. This is incredibly well thought out - and really no more expensive and certainly no slower. I cannot recommend these enough - and if you never need them? They are unobtrusive and attractive. Do yourself a favor and nab a set of these for your car, boat, or backpack - especially if you are a parent in charge of family member safety.

I love that you get four blankets. I will put two in our go bag (hubby and me) and one in each of our cars. The case is good quality and is great for storing all four for a family of four. I will use it for the two in our go bag and add something else small.I can't speak to the warmth as I haven't needed to use it but I'm very happy with it so far.
Christine
Great quality. Nice and compact!

This is one of those things (like the water-filtering straw, or the magnesium fire starter) that I always meant to get for emergency use, but never got around to buying. At my age now, I'm not even sure under what circumstances I would use them, maybe if I survived a plane crash high in the Andes or something. But if there is anything this last pandemic year has taught me, it is to be prepared for anything and don't expect our idiotic government leaders to come to my rescue in any logical fashion or timely manner.
Nathan
This mylar blanket 4 pack is a good peace of mind to have stored in a vehicle for emergencies. The blankets are individually packed and store inside a case to keep them protected.
Dee
Very happy with the product. High quality.
Mark
Great for snap cold during Spring camping or hiking. Just pop into your pack and you're all set.Comes well-packaged in a semi-hard case with a clip (the 4 individual packs are inside). While I would not clip this to my pack - Its a nice option.
Darlene Horner
I like them.

I have not used the product yet. Three are light weight which I was looking for.

These are fantastic. The carrying case is a really nice hard case with a zipper closure. Inside are four heat blankets, each individually packaged in their own little bag with a draw string. They seem to be standard quality mylar emergency blankets, so no complaints at all.I love the fact that they come in the hard box. This is great for camping, hunting, backpacking, and survival. The whole thing is light weight, so you can toss it in your bag and go.I also love that you have the option to split this up. You can put one in four different bags, bug out bag, hunting bag, backpack, etc. and then you have a nice hard case to keep other items in if you want. :I seriously never thought I'd see such a nice setup for emergency heat blankets. This is well worth it because of the versatility and usefulness of the whole thing. I would highly recommend if you need a handful of these for any use. You can't go wrong with this at all.
Mark90
I haven't had a reason to use it and hope I don't have a reason right away. I got it to be ready. I will try it out someday to be familiar with it, but not just yet.
Jack
We went climbing yesterday.I put thes emergency blankets in my hiking bag for emergency use.Yesterday, a partner really wore too little clothes, and I just had the opportunity to use it.They can really keep the body temperature. They are small and have their own packaging, which is really great for emergency use each time. It’s a pity that it’s hard to take it back after use, but since it’s an emergency, it won’t be a problem.
SouthernBeauty95
Haven't got to use them yet, but looking and feeling them I can say I already ready like them
Rae
We got these for the car, for when we travel. We haven't gotten stuck anywhere in years, but in the event that this happened again, we don't ever want to be so cold ever again. This is a wonderful invention and very very compact. The material is extremely thin and all four fit into a tiny container, so they can be stored in the glove box in the car and right there waiting for us when we need them, and we hope we never do. As safety gear goes, this is one of the most important things to have and this brand is known for quality. Good luck in your search. I highly recommend this product.

These blankets are a definite upgrade to the cheaper one's I've carried before. The material is thin, of course, for compact packing, but it definitely feels tougher than others I had. It makes them more tear resistant, which is really nice, especially if you have to re-pack and re-use one. The 7' x 5' size is plenty big for most people. The carrying case and individual pouches are a nice touch.I go solo on most outings, but its nice to have 4 so I can just keep one in different packs/bags and the car and never have to worry about forgetting to pack it. I think these are some of the best out there for the price.
Jane Aydemir
I bought them for my husband
Daria S.
Each blanket is contained in it's own bag. Great to throw in a backpack, vehicle, boat, etc. They are tightly compressed, so take up very little room. Also, ideal for emergency kits.
Musicman44mag
If we go through a freeze and without power and I survive because of these I will update the note. If the power goes out and we have a freeze in the pacific north west and I don't give an up date, assume the worst. Yes I do have food and water for three months so I can do that.

This, I think, is a great deal for the $21.99 you'll pay. I liked it so much that I bought a second set (one for my GHB ("Get Home Bag"), one for my wife's). So we have one set in black, one set in blue. For the price you not only get four decent Mylar blankets you also get a small carry sack for each one and a larger "hard" case for carrying the bunch (or, as I'm using it, for some other GHB supplies/necessities).Is it legitimate Mylar? I have no idea, but it seems to at least to approximate it. Are they really warm/as warm as advertised? Don't know (as the weather has turned warm hereabouts), but I'm betting they are.At this point, nothing negative to say. Only positives. A very, very pleasant surprise. A 5-star surprise.5 stars.

This product is perfect for the entire family! It came with 4-in a case very easily to keep in your carry on! Great for camping, hiking, boating or any outdoor activity! Don’t leave home without it!
Oliver DeMille, TJEd
These are the best emergency blankets I've seen and used. Warmer than the others. Not all that warm--none of them are--but they can keep you alive in an emergency. And these are better than others. I really like them. They look great (I got them in blue). They are tough, light weight, and easy to stick in a pack or range bag. Highly recommend. Excellent!

I live in Michigan. I always have these in my car, year round, though I have only ever used them on other people: a couple of times , I used them for people who had been in accidents and were shivering next to the road, though not necessarily because of the cold. I see how wonderful and easy they are to throw out and then wrap around a person.I keep these in my glove compartment, the top one that I can more easily reach into to get things out.I like that these are individually wrapped. To the best of my knowledge, one has never been put back into its pouch.
Sotto voce
They are a whole lot smaller in the package than expected. They are so tightly packaged that I'm sure if I pulled one out, I would never get it back into the tiny package. Practically, these are single-use emergency measure. Use once and toss it, I think.Nice addition to the stranded kit. Seems necessary in my imagination's expectation.Better than expected. One less item to worry about.
Eci
It’s light weight and very compact
Two kids mom
The outside case has a hard shell. Inside are four blankets each in their individual bags. These are a huge step up from the small ones that you get that are folded flat to store in your car. I was able to actually remove one of the blankets from the little bag and get it back in but it was not a simple thing to do so. It took a little bit of patience. One note when using blankets like this is that the Mylar itself needs an insulation layer between your body and the mile are in order for you to maintain your body heat better. You need that layer of trapped air. So this is not a substitution completely by itself to keep you warm and lessen an absolute emergency situation. you would want to have some dry clothes or a blanket between you and the the Mylar blanket ideally.
Rae
These are awesome, I love the case they come in. I'm probably going to take two out and put them in my partners car and then use the leftover space in the carrying pouch to put other survival items in. I like that each blanket is in its own individually wrapped pouch because it means I can grab one or two and throw them in my hiking pack if need be.The case says "tear and puncture resistant." I was able to tear the edge of it. Regular pulling didn't do it, but tearing from the edge was pretty easy. It doesn't say "tear proof" so I didn't dock it points for that, but I thought it was worth noting.

These Oceas Outdoor Mylar Emergency Blankets are reflective mylar blankets that come individually packed in sturdy drawstring pouches, which are then packed in a nice EVA zippered case. I’m putting these in emergency kits for our vehicles and these were just what I was looking for. I found these emergency blankets very practical, they come in their individual bags and all 4 in a hard case all together. They are very easy to use and easy to take on family trips. The blankets are thermogenic, thin, light and made of good quality material. It is a good option to have these items available in case of emergency.Highly recommended

Looks like a great product. I hope I never have to use it.( or anything like it). If I do, I'm sure it will do the job.
Kim cabbagestalk
Everything was packed very well except the leave in conditioner it was wrapped in the plastic but the lid wasn't tight enough before they put the plastic around it and it opened up. Outside of that everything's okay just have to be a little more cautious.
letmepicyou
These are so very giftable for just about anyone. These come in a 4 pack. Great for a family of 4, but if you just like having something convenient to give to people that they'll actually appreciate, these are fantastic. I put 1 in each of my vehicles, then I gave the other 2 to 2 of my friends to keep in THEIR cars. They were both (as was I) so happy with the small size. You can just toss one in your glove box and you're ready for an emergency. Anyone that drives in colder climates? Perfect. Survivalist types? Perfect. People that ski or snowmobile or other winter activities? Perfect. And the thing about a mylar blanket is it's not just good for freezing temps, oh no. A mylar blanket makes a SUPERB signal mirror if you're lost in the wilderness, can shelter you from rain, or can help gather it if you're thirsty, and keep the blazing sun off of you if you happen to be someplace hot. In short, there are very few people that couldn't potentially use these in one way or another. EVERYONE should have one.If you don't have any of these yet, you should definitely get some. They should be considered essential. Hope this helped.

These compact blankets are perfect to have on hand in case of emergency. I’m keeping them in my car especially in the frigid temps we have had lately. Love the case to keep them in. Highly recommend.

We have been looking for an emergency blanket for a long time. Finally! We found this Oceas emergency blanket that fits all of our needs. 4 in the kit, compact, great quality material. Definitely recommend.
kgr10
Everyone should own an emergency blanket. It's lightweight, waterproof, and has the ability to retain body heat while camping or in any other situation. It's large enough to wrap your whole body in. We go camping quite often and always keep a few emergency blankets in our supplies. We also keep a few in each car just in case we get stranded somewhere.
J. Whitney
I’m not gonna lie, I’m one of “those people” that have literally everything they could ever need tucked away in their car. I didn’t have these though! 4 individual blankets in a cool carry case. Of course I need that! They fit in my pocket, backpack, I can throw it in a beach bag in a pinch, stadium blanket... got it!
rm
The OCEAS emergency blankets are the perfect compact size to throw into my glove compartment, my ultralight hiking backpack, and to tie to my shirt on my long trail runs. They're also very light weight. They are VERY large and can easily accommodate the vast majority of people. It took about 60sec to build enough body heat inside them and the blanket kept me very warm.Cons: crinkly like most emergency blankets but when you're in an emergency i'm sure that's the least of your concerns. So compact it's difficult (but possible) to get them back in their pouches.
Corey Mendelsohn
The compact case and individual bags each blanket came in are higher quality than I expected. These will fit just about anywhere you would need to keep emergency blankets. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a set of 4 to keep on hand.

Super cool! And in the area that I live, pretty important to have one in a car at all times. Hopefully obviously I’ll never have to actually use them, but in case of emergencies I’ve got one and so do my family now too since it comes with multiple. Very light, very warm and I was surprised at how instant the warmth was for me when I tried it on. However, it is impossible to get back into the tiny little bag that it originally was packed in. Would have been way nicer if it was even a slightly larger bag, but no matter what I do it will not fit back in to the bag! The last photo of my review is the closest I could get, so hopefully you’re a better folder or crumpler than I am and can manage to fit it back in the bags. That’s my only complaint on an otherwise solid emergency heat blanket

I just received my Oceas Emergency Blankets and like everything else I’ve ordered from Oceas, I’m blown away by the quality and beauty of the product. First, the hard-side case is awesome, and comes with a carabiner clip. I’m not keeping my emergency blankets in this case, but I’m looking forward to using it for something else. The 4 emergency blankets each come in their own little cinch close nylon bag. I keep an emergency blanket in the backpack of everyone in my family, and these will be perfect. The blankets themselves are huge and beautiful, with mine being silver on one side and a bold blue on the other side. I hope I never have a reason to use this blanket in a true emergency, but I can tell you I’ll always have it with me out on the trails and I’ll smile every time I see it in my pack.
LadyJ18
I keep these in my vehicle in case of an emergency situation or if it's just a really cold day and a regular blanket won't cut it.Comes in an awesome carrying case too!

This is a nicely packaged set of four 7 x 5 foot emergency blankets. Each is individually wrapped. I take one per person whenever I go backpacking or do anything else outdoor where I may need one of these. These appear to be quality emergency blankets. Since they are individually wrapped, it is easy to remove one for a personal use case.It comes with a lightweight carabiner for hanging on something like a backpack. I will probably remove individual emergency blankets as I rarely expect to need 4 for any one time, unless there is a major emergency. This appears to me to be a quality product.

Arrived earlier than expected. That alone was impressive. Ordered the blue color. The main case and individually packed blanket is quite nice. Material is foil like/plastic(?) Not able to check the durability just yet or if it will hold up to keeping us warm. Bought to use while watching daughter's soccer games. For now it earns 5 stars.

These are great to have on hand for emergency situations. I keep a couple in my trunk, and one in my hiking bag. The little bags they come in are great too!

I bought two of these, one for my son and his family and one for me and my wife and daughter. The reason is, one of these saved a good friend of mine from freezing to death. He had shot and killed an elk in the mountains out west and was using it to clean the animal on, when he realized time had gotten away from him and it was getting too dark to get out of the woods without getting lost, so he wrapped himself up in the blanket and spent the night. He said he was a little cold but with the temp in the mid 30's he would have frozen to death if he had not had the blanket. Friends back at camp knew where he was hunting and came after him at first light. Thanks NASA

Perfect for mine and my husband’s cars. We left these blankets in our cars just in case the weather and great to lots of situations. Small size and work awesome. Love it.
JYoung
Love how small the waterproof case is. It went straight into the glove compartment for winter emergencies. The other into our emergency bag. Loved how each blanket is in its own little bag. Our little one was like aww it’s so cute! We got two one in black and one in blue. Seems to be well built.
Diana N
I hope I won't need to use the emergency blankets but am excited to have purchased them. I leave them in my car and will take them with me on hikes. The blankets are SUPER light and barely add any weight to my pack. However, knowing that I have these on me gives me peace of mind.
Nando
Excellent product and is part of my emergency kit.

I like that one side is black.

Nice carrying case for use while camping. Seems to hold up well.

Great product, compact. Great for emergency situations. Have it for that exact reason.

We own almost a dozen Oceas products now and all are fantastic. We love these emergency blankets and have them in our car for emergencies.
Pat
We got these emergency blankets for use on our boat. In an emergency if we get stranded it is good to know that we can get extra warmth that will help our survival tremendously. They are packaged in a sturdy container and don't take up a lot of space in our boat compartment. Definitely a good item to have in our first aid/safety section.
Maisie Neppach
Very nice quality and awesome compact storage. We bought these for our emergency kit and one of my biggest qualms with emergency blankets is they can be a pain to store. These are super easy to put back in their little pouches and the hard shell case keeps all 4 neatly together and doesn’t take up a lot of room. We haven’t had to use them yet but if we do I will be happy we have them.
MMichelle
Nice, neat, compact emergency blanket set. I will keep it in my car. It will not take up much space and will look organized. I can throw one or two in a backpack and/ or keep with a first aid kit for camping or hiking, or with emergency preparedness supplies. They are nice to have!
AmazingBlue
This is a nicely package product. Case is well designed, and the blankets are in individually wrapped bags (2 inches x 1 inch). This is nice so you can put them in 1 or 2 in your car. This is for emergencies so, I am not planning to repack them into the little bags that might be a challenge. But if you want to be prepared - I think this is great product to take on hikes in case something goes wrong.
M. L.
These blankets are a great addition to my emergency kit in my car. The 4 blankets are neatly packed into a small case. This is my third blanket from Oceas; all their products are of very high quality!
T
I love how small the zipper pack is-- very easy to keep in the glove compartment. And a multi-pack is just what we need as a family with kids. I haven't unfolded the blankets themselves yet because with little kiddos they'd get confiscated quickly! But I feel better knowing I have them available if needed.
Michael Collins
Love my new Oceas emergency blankets. They are easy to throw in the pack as a lightweight multi-use piece of gear that can become warmth, shelter, rain-cover, water collector, thermal insulator or reflector in a pinch.
Hilary
This is my 4th blanket from OCEAS. I have absolutely loved my other blankets and I'm excited to add this blanket set to my 72 hour bag and to my car for emergencies as I lived in cold New England. AGAIN another winner by OCEAS
S A Simons
Very nice packaging and carry case. The blankets are small but amazingly four are rolled up and easy to store for an emergency.I haven’t had to use them yet, but they look like they are the ideal emergency blanket.

I got these for hiking and for emergencies.Pros:Ultra LightweightMylarDurable EVA CaseCompactInsulatingCons:Not The Easiest to Refold & Stow Once UsedWhat I received in the package:4 x OCEAS Emergency Blankets4 x Storage Bags1 x CaseThis OCEAS Emergency Blanket product come in a 4-Pack. The Emergency Kit is roughy 6”x 4 1/2”x 2 and weighs 12.1oz. Each blanket weighs 2.1oz and the storage bag is 0.2oz for a total weight of 2.3oz per stowed blanket. Each blanket is approximately 7’X 5’ unfolded. These blankets are extremely thin mylar thermal foil material. Black on one side and reflective foil on the other. They are relatively durable for how thin they are as long as they are not punctured by something sharp. They have excellent wind and weather protection. In a pinch or emergency, you would not want to be without one. I have one in each vehicle and take two with us for our hiking trips. They are so light and compact that you can stow it in your glove box or in a pack and you don’t even know it is there. In testing this blanket. It is a good size blanket able to easily wrap around one or even two people if huddled. These blankets are meticulously folded probably by a machine. That is the only drawback I found. When trying to refold this blanket into the compact roll that it comes in was not easy. I would just take a look at how it is folded as you unfold the blanket so you can try and duplicate the method. It took me several tries but once I got it down I can do it in a few minutes if you have a helper.I would recommend being extremely careful with this blanket only because it is just a thin sheet of mylar. It is still susceptible to the same type of puncture and piercing damage that any other product would be that is this thin. Avoid branches and sharp twigs, etc. Don’t sit on rocks or burs to avoid ripping and punctures.I could not locate any warranty information in the item description or the product information. However, they do offer a 30-Day Refund … no questions asked.I received this product in exchange for an honest review. All in all, I found this to be a beautifully packaged kit. From the case to the individually wrapped blankets in drawstring bags. The product feels like quality. I have a number of other emergency blankets .. these are my new Go-tos because of the quality of the mylar and you can just see the care the manufacturer took to ensure this is an attractive and reusable item. Well made product. This product is made in China.

I was so excited when I saw that Oceas had mylar emergency blankets. I have two other non-emergency blankets from them and they are fantastic. I use those at my son's soccer games/practices. So when I saw the emergency blankets, I knew I had to get a set for my car. From blankets come in a TINY, very modern designed case. Super sleek. A perfect thing just to put in your glove compartment. Can't wait to see what other products Oceas comes out with.

Once again, I’ve purchased an Oceas product and glad I did. The outdoor emergency kit contains four waterproof and wind proof blankets neatly packed in drawstring bags. The small (4X6) case is ideal to keep in the glove compartment in the event of a roadside emergency. Also, if I’m staying warm and dry in my personal Oceas blanket and want to share with others, I have four handy backups.I’m a loyal Oceas customer!
