Waterproof Fleece Blanket

The second I pulled this blanket out, I knew I loved it but with the recent snow we’ve had in New York, this thing has really held up! I’ve been using it as an extra layer on really windy walks and to sit on while taking a break from sledding and it’s been invaluable. I’m ready to get a few more for myself and maybe a few as gifts for the outdoor lovers, like me, in my life.

Nice and cozy and warm. Limited use so far due to it being winter, but looking forward to more use come summer. As living in Canada and had it shipped to my son in Boston, who forwarded it here, looking to the day when your company enters the Canadian market as am sure lots more sales will come about.

This is one of those simple, smart products that make you think, "Why didn't I think of this?" Noisy? Sure, somewhat. But just when you need it in a rain or wind storm, I'm sure you won't notice it. Or tired or drunk enough, you won't notice it. It is slippery between the two fabrics, but so what? It is well sewn at the edges. This blanket is made to protect and more of a 3 season blanket. One warning: If you have a cat and lay it out inside, Kitty will be attracted to the crinkle and could claw it! Excellent product!

This is what I was expecting!

Soft and Comfy Picnic/Park Blanket. One side is more plastic like for the bottom and is waterproof. The other side is a soft fleece that warm enough for fall weather but not too hot for hot weather. Can fit 2-3 people or just one if you want to wrap yourself in the fleece.

Was basically sitting in a puddle of mud and didnt even notice!

This blanket will make you sweat in the coldest nights. Basically a thermal survival blanket with fleece on one side. My wife loved it but I'm a warm body so it was a bit too warm for me but still an awesome product. Perfect for extremely cold weather or sbow camping/hiking. Only negative I found was that it can get quite loud when moving around at night l, especially if you use it inside your sleeping bag. Everytime I moved my wife woke up and everytime she moved I woke up. Not for long but still enough to disturb a peaceful sleeper.

Great waterproof blanket, used to take to Penn State Football games, hopefully thatll return next season. Also great for sitting around the campfire!

Seems well constructed, flexible but water resistant. Haven't had to really test it yet, but used it and happy so far.

This blanket is wonderful. It keeps out water no matter how wet the ground it. However it is a bit bulky and is not the comfiest material to wrap around yourself.

I love how soft and substantial this blanket is. Lightweight, but thick enough to lay down even on rough grass/small twigs. And the cover is a great addition.

After ordering a few other blankets and returning them I came across this one and it is perfect! The fleece is soft and it is a nice weight

We got caught in the rain without the T-tops for our Jeep so we used the waterproof blanket and a pole to keep the rain out as we drove the trails in Colorado

Good size, used on the beach. The fleece side is soft. Perfect for picnic, soccer games, on placing on wet grass.

This blanket is wonderful for concerts, picnics etc.

I love the outdoors but I am also part of my community emergency response team. Finding great gear that serves a dual purpose is nirvana. This blanket serves both purposes. So far it has protected me from a downpour and provided a comfy lounging space at the lake. Love it.

Very easy to clean and roll back up. Have used this so many times the past couple of months. It is now made its home in my truck because we take it on all trips weather its the beach or camping.

Very quality just what I wanted

This is such a great product to have at all times in the car for any weather. A misty day at the beach, reading on a stretch of shaded lawn in a park, getting chilly at a drive inall 3 of which Ive experienced. This blanket is an easy grab to help facilitate all sorts of outdoor adventures. Because of its weatherproof side, you can easily shake off any dirt, sand, water, etc. fold it up and its ready to go for the next time. For me this is a big pull because I hate enjoying a nice outdoor activity and then having to pack everything up and know I have at least one load of laundry to do afterwards after every activity. Its nice to lay on and to wrap up in. Easy to pack. I think its good to have in every car.

Cannot go wrong with the Oceas brand. We love our outdoor time and this blanket has made it even better! A must have for the family!

I am very happy with the quality of these. Bought them to have on the boat to keep warm on colder mornings/nights. They are comfy feeling and are large enough to keep anyone warm. I Will be buying another to keep in my truck as well.

I bought this last year for camping and outdoor fun. This blanket was a lot a better than I thought, it is soft on one side and waterproof on the outer side. It is large enough to cover me and my two dogs and its a great blanket to lay on the ground. When we went fishing last year it started pouring raining but I stayed completely dry with this blanket. I have washed this blanket a few times on delicate and dried on a low setting, the blanket is still holding up well. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family.

I use this blanket anytime I go to the beach or to a park to sit on, and no moisture comes through which is great. Very soft and warm too if you need to bundle up.

I've had this blanket for about a year now and find it very useful for outdoor picnics. What I love about it compared to other blankets is that it keeps the moisture from seeping through surfaces like damp grass and maintains the surface to stay soft and dry during use. I like that the surface keeps it's flatness and the corners don't get blown by the wind too easily due to the material and all-around stitching around the edges. The fleece surface is noticeably warmer to sit on compared to other blankets that are cotton/synthetic, and dries quickly when water gets on it. I have not tried washing it fully in the washer, but it's easy to clean just by wiping the bottom side with a damp paper towel and using a lint roller for the fleece side. I've also used it at the beach a few times and sand comes off easily. Such a great purchase and highly recommend!

After one too many concerts ruined by sitting on damp grass, I decided I needed a waterproof lawn blanket. The Oceas blanket has been perfect. It is completely waterproof so even when placed on wet grass, I stay dry. It is also large enough for 2 of us to comfortably enjoy a concert under the stars. The blanket is light weight and rolls up nicely into its carrying sack which makes transport easy.

If you're looking for a lightweight blanket for any weather and any place, I highly recommend this blanket.I even get compliments from friends.I have used it at the beach and at parks. ZERO stains. I purchased this blanket to use under my yoga mat for yoga classes at the park. It is perfect for this, keeping my mat clean and dry. Also, we are going camping in a couple weeks and plan to put it on the floor of the tent as a base layer between the floor of the tent and our sleeping bags. The blanket is very lightweight and washes well.

We bought 2 of these for soccer games, initially. What we have used them for? Rain ponchos, wind breaks, sitting on the beach, picnics in the grass, warmth in early spring and late fall (winter) soccer games, sunshade and a great spot to listen to some music on a beautiful Summer night. We bought 2 more for a total of 4 blankets because I value quality. Not a frayed edge (my daughter has drug it on the pavement) and no separation of the layers in the corners (like previous blankets we bought). I would recommend them to my mom but she has one too!Worth every pennie!

This is a great blanket. It is light weight but warm enough for cool/windy days. We bought this for the fall/spring youth sports seasons and the weather, the waterproof shell is great and adds good weather barrier. Folds easy, washes good and super portable.

I've had my Oceas blanket for about 2 years now. It's fantastic! I primarily use it for cold weather events and tailgates...parades, school events, football games, tailgates, you name it. It's a great stadium blanket. Keeps you warm and the water out. I've never gotten a wet butt from sitting on cold/wet bleachers while watching games. It's big enough for two people easily, sitting or when used to cover your laps. I love that you can stuff the blanket back into the carrying sack and use the attached handle to transport. I rarely go to events empty handed, so being able to sling the bag over a shoulder, elbow, or single finger is great.

I purchased this blanket to use for a football game scheduled to play during a rain/snow storm. The blanket kept me amazingly dry during the rain part of the storm and warm when it turned to snow. The blanket is larger than I expected which was great to share during the storm. I've since used it as a travel blanket for camping trips and for extra bedding when guests are in town. It is light weight when packed in the carry case and I'm extremely pleased with the quality and my purchase!

This blanket has been perfect for my son's baseball games when the weather gets a little chilly and or if there is rain. My son has used this blanket in the dirty and sometimes muddy dugout to cover him and his teammates to keep them warm and it washes clean like a charm! The blanket is waterproof and windproof, I keep this blanket in the back of my SUV at all times, I'm so glad I bought it.

I am super satisfied with the delivery, package and quality of this product. We have used it the same day I got it, and so far so good.Tip for guys or girls that wear basketball shorts: the side of blanket can get really warm if its sunny outside and over 20 C, so you might like have some towel underneath your ?? to get less sweaty. :) But overall big blanket, for 3-4 adults!! ??

I brought this blanket to a college football game in October 2019. The weather was rainy and cold. This blanket did an AWESOME job at repelling the water, while keeping me warm at the same time. I love how it rolls up into a bag. It' also washes and dries very nicely. Highly recommended!

Blanket is really well made and works great, specially for windy locations. It also works great to sit on thanks to the waterproof side. It's a good size to share with someone else or just wrap yourself in it. I like that it comes with a nice carry on bag and it's really light.I haven't use it on the rain so I'm not sure how waterproof it really is.

I bought this looking for a blanket to keep in my car and it's been useful more times than I can count. Whether using at the beach as something to sit on, keeping me warm and dry on a windy or rainy night camping, this blanket has been an incredible find. Its also super easy to pack away to carry, which makes it easy to take with me on the go.

This blanket is VERY light while also being very warm. It is big enough to completely cover me. It makes a lot of noise when you move so that is a little annoying but it is waterproof. Its easy to roll up and it has the elastic strap to keep it rolled so you can put it in the bag.

I absolutely love this blanket. I have taken it everywhere from the beach to hiking in the mountains of Montana at Glacier National Park. It actually saved us two night when our camp fire wood would have gotten wet unless I threw the blanket on it. I payed it on and the next more omg we had dry wood to cook breakfast. A little weird when you first open it because fleece is not a beach texture Im use too but after the first day on the Beach I was amazed. It stayed dry as a bone, sand fell right off and it was perfect for two people. We laid out beach blankets on top of it and couldnt be happier.

A very warm blanket. Keep in mind that of the soft side is on the ground, it might be hard to take off all the small bits of grass and leaves that stick to it like a magnet.Otherwise kept me really warm the whole night under a bit of drizzle in June. Pretty good wind protection too.

This was a Christmas gift, and my husband loves it. Perfect for sitting outside on a cold evening.

We've only used this blanket once so far, it was the same size as our Queen air mattress. We used it to help keep the top of our air mattress warm in the 19 degree weather. It worked very well in keeping us from feeling that cold air. I can't wait to use it for more activities. It's a good size to keep in the back of the jeep for outings.

We bought this to use during what seemed the rainiest football season ever. My son plays high school (and now college) football and we dont miss a game. Including when its barely 35 degrees and pouring rain. The blanket was a great top layer to keep the majority of the rain off of us and keep us mostly dry.I appreciate the way it rolls up and elastics inside a bag so that its easy to drop down into my giant stadium bag.

The blanket was highly recommended by a relative who attends many soccer practices and games in cold, damp weather.I ordered a red blanket and a blue one. They came rolled into a neat, tight matching bag the next day.The blankets do keep us warm even in a cold, humid setting; however, the crispness of the exterior fabric is quite noisy. My relative assures me that after washing the fabric becomes quieter.After practicing, Ive learned how to fold the blanket back into the carry bag.

Love this blanket. I'm using it as a car blanket in my Wrangler for back seat passengers. When it's very cold, heat isn't great in the rear seat and this blanket comes in very handy. It has a soft side for against you, but the other side is slick and waterproof... best of both worlds.

This blanket is HUGE! One side is fleece and the other is waterproof. It kept me warm and dry all football season long. Two people can easily use this, maybe even a third if you're sitting close enough. It's a bit of a bear trying to get it back into the bag but once it's packed, it's a very manageable size and easy to carry.

This past spring I was so tired of sitting on the sidelines watching my kid's sports games FREEZING with the wind ripping right through the blankets I had brought. I thought to myself "I wish there were wind proof blankets!" After a quick Amazon search and I used my freezing fingers to push the Check Out button. My only regret is not getting one sooner! This blanket is wind and water proof, and the size is perfect - plenty big to wrap completely around one adult or go across two people on one side. After it got dirty I put it in the washer as directed and it came out in perfect shape. I highly recommend. If you are on the fence about a wind proof blanket - pull the trigger, you won't regret it!

Perfect blanket for sporting events!

My son is a boy scout and camps almost every month of the year. My mother bought this for my son for Christmas and my husband decided to try it out today, in about 30 degree weather. He took a nap using this blanket (and he wore a coat too) and he said he was quite comfortable! It was windy and he said it did a great job of blocking out the window. My son is excited to try this blanket on his next camping trip, which will be in mid-January.
